With global society getting worse every day I get very nervous trying to film them, so nowadays I've primarily filmed the St. Lawrence seaway locks and a few trains.

Stayed here last weekend after a furry event at the theatre across the road, quite a nice hotel and nice elevators despite being a bit tad slow imo. I do wonder what fixtures they had though before if they were modded, sadly this hotel may be torn down.

The tallest tower in my country has a 1000 FPM elevator speed, 700 when I first went on there. But that's not my country's fastest. My country's fastest is 1400-1600 (VERY-FAST)

My country's fastest elevator I think has a speed of 1400-1600FPM (VERY-FAST). The dominating skyscraper has the approximate speed of 1000FPM, around 700FPM the first time I rode on it

so you've discontinued the VERY-FAST category which counts for around 1600 fpm elevator speeds and merged it into ULTRA-FAST right?

What a beauty 125 yrs old when this was filmed. I hope this elevator is still in service at 133 yrs old. It runs like a well oiled and maintained machine. It's likely a basement winding drum machine DC motor, and rectifier in the controller.

My goodness..... I just discovered something about this building. The freight elevator is a pull the rope type! Still original. Not sure who installed it. However it's possible it is Gault or Cober.

The elevators are now destination dispatch but one of the elevators are regular like the elevator that you just rode

Also, they serve underground parking levels as well.

These elevators have since been modernized, I don’t know what to think of it.

There are another bank of elevators in this same parking garage, they serve an 8th floor. Also judging by the floor brailles on the hoistway doors, I’d say these were installed by Montgomery
